Born in New York to immigrant parents from Trinidad and Jamaica and raised in South Florida, the multiculturalism I've grown accustomed to makes you look at things with a worldview. Ask anyone of my family members and they'll tell you Imani has been about art her whole life. In this experience there are many things we are uncertain of, art isn't one of those things for me. I see art as a tool to communicate, educate, and entertain. Since adolescence I've been drawing and painting. In high school I started studying photography, a big passion of mine, and digital design. Art permeates into every aspect of my life. Art is all around us. I want to use the power of art to unify people. This world has become so caught up in our differences I feel like my talents can be used to remind everyone around me that we're all not that much different from each other. That we need to unify, lift each other up. Especially in our recent climate. Hence the name for my little section of the internet We’re All We Got.

In high school I founded PRSNLTY with my partner Shawn. This is my passion project that reflects my love for the art of fashion design.

We are all apart of this world sharing the same experience, here is where we relate to one another. I like to use my talents to tell stories and open up the eyes of our communities. I believe I was given a gift and gifts are meant to share. Welcome to my universe. We're All We Got.
